Elizabeth Ann (Louie) Franks
Elizabeth Ann (Louie) Franks was born at Hayti, Missouri on July 12, 1952. She was the daughter of Newton Strawn and Dora Jarboe Strawn.
She departed this life at her home in Blytheville, Arkansas on January 4, 2018. She was 65 years old.
Louie graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1970.
Louie loved life and loved people. She was a wonderful cook which many people enjoyed. She worked as a supervisor in the food/beverage department at Lady Luck. She also worked at the Caruthersville County Club. She was known by many as a quilter.
In Blytheville, Arkansas in 2007 she was united in marriage to Ronnie Franks.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville.

Jerry Strawn and his wife, Linda – Caruthersville, MO
A sister – Barbara Pruitt – Caruthersville, MO
A nephew – Russell Pruitt
Her father-in-law and mother-in-law – Leon and Betty Franks – Blytheville, AR
6 grandchildren – Bailey Walker, Dorian, Sarah, Dillian, Savana, and Colt Mejia
A very special friend – Teresa Jean, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Newton and Dora Strawn, a brother, Toby Strawn, and a sister, Margaret Moody.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 6 at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Jimmy Lemonds officiating. Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers were the deacons of First Baptist Church.
