Edna Louise Dye
Edna Louise Dye was born November 3, 1932 in Portageville, Missouri. She was the daughter of Lewis R. Jones and Maudie Belle Ward.
She departed this life on May 4, 2018 at the Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was 85 years old.
On July 19, 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Marvin Verlin Dye. He preceded her in death.
Edna and Marvin were the owners and operators of the Dye Grocery Store for many years. She also
worked for Wal Mart for 12 years when it first came to Caruthersville. She also enjoyed working cross word puzzles and crocheting.
She is survived by – 7 children – Linda Drouant – Clearwater, Florida

- Son – Larry Dye – Caruthersville, Missouri
- Daughter – Anita Brisbois – Windsor, Ontario
- Son – Marvin Dye, Jr. – Arnold, Missouri
- Jimmie Dye – Caruthersville, Missouri
- Michele Yates – Steele, Missouri
14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Lewis and Maudie Jones) and husband (Marvin Dye)
Funeral services were held May 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Danny Lacer officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery.
