Clarence Lee Woods, Sr.

Clarence Lee Woods, Sr. was born September 30, 1961, in Hayti, Missouri. He was the son of Wanda and Leon Woods, Sr.

He departed this life on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his home in Steele, Missouri.

Clarence was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda, and his father, Leon, Sr.

He is survived by his wife: Wendy Lynn Woods of Caruthersville; three sons: Clarence Woods, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Caruthersville, Dustin Woods and his fiancé Lauren of Fisk, Missouri, and Cody Woods of Los Angeles, California; and three grandsons: Riley, Hunter, and Jesse – who were the highlight of his life.

Clarence was a welder at the shipyard for many years, as was his father and his two oldest sons. In his spare time, he loved being with his family, especially his grandsons. He also loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.

He truly was a one of a kind person and well be greatly missed by all.
