Charles David Michie

Charles David Michie was born March 14, 1953 in Caruthersville, Missouri.  He was the son of Albert Michie and Virginia Corrington Michie. 

He departed this life at his home in Memphis, Tennessee on October 30, 2018.  He was 65 years old. 

Charles was a graduate of Caruthersville High School.  He then went to Southeast Missouri State University and graduated with a B.S. in business. 

Charles was a supervisor with Saddle Creek Corporation.  

Charles loved his family and spending time with them.  He enjoyed reading particularly nonfiction.  He also enjoyed playing strategy type games.   

Survived by – his sister – Marilyn Michie Foster 

8 nieces and nephews – Richard Foster, Jr, James Steven Foster, Kathryn Foster Jandreau, Robert Christopher Foster, John Michael Foster, David Russell Foster, Jeffery Lynn Foster, Erik Michael Michie 

Other relatives and many friends 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother – James S. Michie 

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 10 at 12:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating.  Interment followed in Maple Cemetery.
