Tommie Beatrice Biggs

Tommie Beatrice Biggs was born in Hayti, Missouri, on March 16, 1969.  She was the daughter of Jerry Don Biggs, Sr. and Phyllis Ann Swift Short. 

She departed this life at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri, on October 26, 2023.  She was 54 years old.

Tommie loved her family dearly.  Her favorite title was “Grandma”.  She received the nickname of “Slim Shady” many years ago and even had it on the back window of her vehicle. 

She is survived by her mother: Phyllis Ann Short; her father: Jerry Don Biggs, Sr.; three children: Andrew Morgan, Megan Chalmers, & Krystal Morgan; one sister: Melissa Gollaway; three brothers: William Pettie, Virgil McCaig, & Jerry Don Biggs, II; a special aunt: Belle Turpen; five grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Tommy Biggs; a sister: Melinda Biggs; a grandchild: Kylhill Jones, Jr.; and three aunts: Mae Fennell, Sheila Swift, & Donna Wilcox Swift.

Memorial services services will be announced at a later date.
