Shirley Durham

Shirley Faye Durham was born October 19, 1937 in West Point, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of Fay Todd and Etah Andrews Todd.

She departed this life in Hayti, Missouri on February 3, 2021.  She was 83 years old.

Shirley was a lady that enjoyed nature including working in her yard and her garden.  Her greatest joy was her family including her two granddaughters.

She was a very dedicated Christian lady and taught children’s Sunday school for many years.  She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God in Steele.

She spent 30 plus years working as a cook for the Hayti school district.

Survived by:  2 sons – Kenny Durham – Poplar Bluff, Missouri

  • Todd Durham – Braggadocio, Missouri

1 daughter: Etah Durham – Blytheville, Arkansas

2 granddaughters – Cadence Burns-Durham and Christian Durham

Many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Fay and Etah Todd, a son – Johnny Lamar Durham, and 2 brothers – Robert Todd and Thurman Todd.

Graveside services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in West Point, Tennessee, on Sunday, Feb. 7.  Brother Kenny Durham officiated.

Visitation was held prior to services at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee from 1:30 to 2:30.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
