Sheila Renee Hampton

Sheila Renee Hampton was born November 20, 1952, in Hayti, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Bethel Wilks Weaver & James Marcella Weaver.

She departed this life in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 31, 2021.  She was 68 years old.

Sheila graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1971.

On April 29, 1972, in Caruthersville, Missouri, Sheila was united in marriage to Harold Hampton.  They celebrated 49 years of marriage.

Sheila worked as the account manager for McGriff Seibels and Williams.  She was a very dedicated employee for 35 years.

Sheila and Harold spent many days and evenings at the sporting events of their two sons and also grandson.  She enjoyed cooking for her family but also never passed up an opportunity to go out to eat with family and friends.  She loved traveling especially to Branson to visit her sons.

She was a member of the Central church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband: Harold Hampton of Caruthersville, Missouri; two sons: Justin Hampton of Branson, Missouri, & Jeremy Hampton of Branson, Missouri; four grandchildren: Landon Hampton of Caruthersville, Missouri, Logan Hampton of Brighton, Colorado, Tyler Darnell of Brighton, Colorado, & Andrew Darnell of Brighton, Colorado; many other family members; and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Bethel Weaver, and a sister, Teresa Weaver.

Graveside services were held August 4, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Brother Mike McDaniel officiating.
