Robert Moore


Was born in Hayti, Missouri on March 10, 1956.

Departed this life at the Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett on July 28, 2022 at the age of 66.

He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Moore & Ruby Chappell Moore.

Attended the Caruthersville Schools, graduating in the High School Class of 1974.

Trim was a maintenance worker with Lakeside in Memphis for over 20 years prior to his retirement.

He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and also loved the Memphis Redbirds, Memphis Grizzlies basketball, Memphis Tigers football, Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Blues hockey team. Robert also enjoyed playing golf and watching golf tournaments on television.

Robert had a love for music, especially guitarists, and always wanted to be one. He did play a mean air guitar until buying a real Keith Urban guitar and still has it to this day. He also loved airplanes and flying, the Andy Griffith show,  (He could even recite all of the episodes by heart) Ford Hot Tamales and sweets. He loved his family and friends very much and often missed his Missouri friends and family.

Michelle was the true love of his life and his very best friend and had two children through love, Cynthia and James

He was of the Church of Christ faith.


His Fiance – Michelle C. Poole – Memphis, Tennessee

2 children – Cynthia Poole & James Kelley (Tori)

1 Brother  –  Don (Donna) Moore – Ridgely, Tennessee

2 Sisters – Verna (Jim) Turnbow – Kennett, Missouri & Janie (Bruce) Milum of Caruthersville, Missouri

4 Nephews  –  Rex (Melissa) Moore, Ben (Noelle) Turnbow, Michael Turnbow and Cameron Milum.

1 Niece  –  Natalie (Wil) Keiser

& a number of other relatives and many, many friends.

Trim was also preceded in death by a brother, H. P. Moore and 1 nephew, Steve Moore.

Funeral services held August 6 in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Brother Doug Wahls officiating. 

Interment in Maple Cemetery.
