Robert Earl Lynn
Robert Earl Lynn was born January 22, 1939, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of John Alfred Lynn and Opal Marie Johnston Lynn.
He departed this life at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri on January 8, 2021. He was 81 years old.
On November 17, 1958, at the Sacred Heart Church in Caruthersville, he was united in marriage to Mary Glenda Hayden. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Robert was known all over Southeast Missouri as a banker. He spent 22 years at the National Bank in Caruthersville and then 20 years at First State Bank in Caruthersville.
He proudly served his country for 10 years in the Missouri National Guard.
Robert was a wonderful member of the community. He served on many committees and boards but it was his family life that he treasured. He loved being able to work in his yard and do woodworking projects. He also was always able to keep everyone informed about the weather. He was the self-appointed neighborhood watch patrol man.
