Richard Theodore “Trey” Constant, III

Richard Theodore “Trey” Constant, III was born September 3, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was the son of Richard Constant and Suzanne Carson Constant.

He departed this life at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri on January 16, 2023.  He was 57 years old.

Trey graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1984. 

On December 31, 1989, in Jonesboro, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Dana Stewart.  They celebrated 33 years of marriage. 

Trey worked as a Fed Ex driver for the last 8 years.

He loved his two daughters and held family time dearly. Cooper, his dog, was also very loved.  He enjoyed fishing and riding his ranger

Survived by his wife: Dana Constant of Caruthersville, Missouri; his mother: Suzanne Constant of Caruthersville, Missouri; two daughters: Morgan Mayer (Daniel) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Laura Constant of Caruthersville, Missouri; one brother: Jon Constant (Angie) of Caruthersville, Missouri; one aunt: Lisa Cothran (Jimmy) of Brighton, Tennessee; two nephews: Carson and Will Constant; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father – Richard T. (Dickie) Constant, II.

Funeral services will be held on January 19, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Caruthersville with Brother James Adams officiating. Interment to follow in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.  H. S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
