Paula Thompson

Paula Marie Thompson was born June 1, 1960 in Carlinville, Illinois.  She was the daughter of George William Henry Brimberry and Mary Frances Donaldson Brimberry.

She departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri on October 5, 2020.  She was 60 years old.

Paula worked as a homemaker for Buck’s Home Health for many years.

She loved going camping but most of all she loved spending time with her family-mostly the grandkids.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survived by –  Her fianc’e – Joe Allen Pattillo           

5 children – Carrie Louise Middleton Muse, and her husband, Jeremy

  • Kimberly Nichole Middleton
  • Joseph Jacob Middleton, and his wife, Rhainona
  • Jason David Cox, and his wife, Tracy Estraca Cox
  • Joseph Allen Pattillo, Jr.

11 grandchildren – Joseph Tyler Darnell, Andrew Blake Darnell, Landon Lane Hampton, Logan Lee Hampton, Carly Rae Estraca, Nevaeh Rayne Cox, Jaxon Cox, Jasmine Layton, Danika Raven Rose Middleton, Addison Pattillo, Ava Pattillo

1 great granddaughter – Macie Rae McLaughlin

Many other family members including nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters – Joyce Brimberry, Margret Brimberry Rhodes, Betty Brimberry Smith, and 3 brothers – Tom Brimberry, Edward Brimberry, and Dallas Brimberry.

Funeral services were held Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Shawn Harding officiating.
