Judy Ann (Lee) Hawks

Judy Ann Hawks was born October 25, 1957, in Hayti, Missouri. She was the daughter of Kenneth Lee and Louise Harmon Lee.

She departed this life in Jackson, Tennessee on March 24, 2024. She was 66 years old.

Judy was a graduate of the Caruthersville High School class of 1976. After High School, she began working at the Brown Shoe Company. She also worked for the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office as dispatcher for a short time.

Judy enjoyed spending time outdoors. She loved to hunt, fish, go camping, and spend time at the lake. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her indoor plants. She had a bay window filled with plants at her home. She had a green thumb and was able to grow anything.

She had so much fun going to yard sales and junk stores. She really enjoyed going junking with her mom and dad.

Judy’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She shared a lot of laughter with them.

Judy loved her grandsons; they brightened up her life.

She is survived by her mother: Louise Lee of Caruthersville, MO; her daughter: Dawn Cummings of Caruthersville, MO; six siblings: Ronald Keith of Steele, MO, Wanda Wheeler of Portageville, MO, Tommy Lee of Caruthersville, MO, Kenny Lee of Caruthersville, MO, Richard Lee of Caruthersville, MO, & Denise Lee Stepp of Jackson, TN; two grandsons: Skylar Christy & Abel Cummings; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father – Kenneth Lee.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Reverend Kenny Lee & Pastor Richard Lee officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
