Dorothy Jean Wilburn was born March 16, 1945 to the late Mary Smith Sylvester Jennings, Sr. of Como, MS
Dorothy attended the Como High School in Como, MS. She was a homemaker, caring for her children. She attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Black.
On November 10, 2019 at N.H.C. Kennett, MO she made her transition.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Smith, her father, Sylvester Jennings, Sr., four brothers, Leroy, John, Henry Lee and Eugene Jennings, and two sisters, Georgia Cobb and Rosa Cobb.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Carolyn Wilburn of Caruthersville, Janice Wilburn of St. Louis, MO, four sons, Everett (Jean) Wilburn of Hayti, MO, Trent (Latosha) Wilburn of Caruthersville, MO, Johnny Lynn Honeycutt of Caruthersville, MO, Lee Arthur (Joanna) Wilburn of Caruthersville,, two sisters, Mary Weldon of Inkster, MI, Willie Bell Parnell of Kennett, MO, and one brother, Sylvester Jennings, Jr. of Alton, IL, 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
