D’Neisha Lashawn Grant

D’Neisha Lashawn Grant – Sunrise March 20, 1993; Sunset August 19, 2021

On March 20, 1993, a special person was born to Stacy Renee Grant and Paul Anthony House, Sr.  D’Neisha was a graduate of Hayti High School in 2011.  She loved others and was a nurturer by God’s design, which led Neisha to work in Home Health, but her long term goal was becoming a Social Worker, which she was enrolled at Grand Canyon University to accomplish that dream.  She was one year away from having her Bachelor’s degree in her field.

D’Neisha was well known throughout her community and had several friends.  She was a happy, upbeat, intelligent, and caring young lady, whom main objective in life was being an excellent Mother to her children, a supportive eldest sibling, a caregiver to her father, and a best friend to her mother.  FAMILY IS EVERYTHING to her.

D’Neisha suddenly departed this life on August 19, 2021, at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN after being stricken with COVID-19.

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory her beloved mother: Stacy Grant of Dyersburg, TN; her father: Paul House, Sr.; a VERY SPECIAL friend and father to her children: Abel Jones; a sister/daughter/confidante: Natoria House; four brothers; Adrian Everheart, Paul House, Jr., Marcus House, Jerome Harrell, all of Caruthersville, Mo; and a brother, David House of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Clara Grant-Foreman, Jerry Foreman, Sr., and Patricia & Herbert House; a sister: Shaniqua L. House; and many other loved ones.

Memorial services were held August 29, 2021, in the H.S. Smith Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
