David Lee Phelps, Jr.
David Lee Phelps, Jr. was born October 6, 1970, in Hayti, Missouri. He was the son of David Lee Phelps, Sr. and Anita Presson Phelps.
He departed this life on August 11, 2023, in Hayti, Missouri. He was 52 years old.
David worked as a deckhand for Caruthersville Marine and Wepfer Marine.
He loved his family. He was always ready to bar-b-que for them and his friends. He loved St. Louis Cardinal baseball and San Franciso 49er’s football. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Everyone that knew David knew that he was generous and always willing to help anyone.

He was preceded in death by his son – David Lee “Tray” Phelps, III, a grandson – Tray Allen Phelps, and his grandmother – Ruth Rhodes.
Funeral services Monday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery.
