Charlotte Mae Anderson was born August 25, 1955 to Evelina Anderson and Phil McCoy. Charlotte was a very lovable person. Her family meant the world to her. She really enjoyed spending time with family, dinners at her moms with everyone around were priceless. Her vacations to Oklahoma City were something she looked forward to, not only could she spend time with her brothers and sisters, she could spend precious time with her grandchildren filled with smiles, laughter and love.
Charlotte lived her life to the fullest. And she would use the rest of her leisure time doing what she liked to do which consist of watching soap operas, playing the lottery and going to bingo. Even when she didn’t feel well she did what puts a smile on her face, pushing through and making the best of it. Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Caruthersville High School May 24, 1973 and went on to further her education at Mississippi Community College where she graduated May 14, 1988.
She was later employed at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital for years where she cared for so many people, to finish up she spent many years at World Color Press. She was famous for her Peach Cobbler with extra crust, Butter Roll, and Sweet Potato Pie. She was a very caring and concerning person, if she was aware of you not feeling well or the loss of a family member she would make sure she checked on you by showing her love and sympathy.
Unfortunately her life was cut short in the comfort of her own home December 21, 2019. She was proceeded in death by her Father’s; Phil McCoy and Sam Alston, Brother; Victor Alston, Sister; Gwendolyn Caradine, grandparents; Mary and Henry Clay Anderson, Nephew; Lamar Bell, Niece; Keniqua Jones and many other family members.
