Austin Wayne Reno
Austin Wayne Reno was born on June 13, 2013. He was born just ahead of his twin brother, Andrew. He was a much-awaited blessing and the beloved son of his parents, Cara Beth Berry Reno and Eric Wayne Reno. Austin was the grandson of Henry and Raenita Berry of Caruthersville and Rhonda (Parkinson) and Ronnie Price and the late Jimmy Reno all of Caruthersville.
Austin had Autism. Although he spoke no words, he told everyone he met exactly what he wanted and when. He was a student at Oakview Learning Center and loved going to school and the friends he had there – both students and teachers. The activities at Oakview always made Austin happy! He loved going shopping for Christmas, sitting on the Boogaloo Riders’ motorcycles, and going to the fair each year with school friends. When Austin was not at school, his favorite things to do were to be at home with his Mom and twin brother, Andrew. Watching Mickey Mouse on tv, playing with and sorting his toys, shapes and puzzles, playing in the bathtub with all the bubbles, and on his iPad, were his ultimate favorite things to do. He enjoyed spending time with his Dad and Kristin, Jax, Hailea, and Miley, and also with his grandparents and cousins. Austin had so many special people in his life who loved him so much!
Austin amazed every person he ever met. Always inquisitive and funny, he would try to explore his surroundings and find something he liked everywhere he went whether it be at school or home. Austin loved his people and would tell them so! If he ever signed “I love you” or blew you kisses you knew you were a favorite!!! Once he loved you he loved hard!
Austin departed this life to begin his heavenly journey on October 28th, 2022.
