Ann Alicia Kendall

Ann Alicia Kendall was born April 11, 1935 in Caruthersville, Missouri.  She was the daughter of the late Wyman Dillman and Elizabeth Watson Dillman.   

She departed this life on December 11, 2018 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was 83 years old. 

Ann grew up in Caruthersville and graduated from Caruthersville High School.  She then attended Christian College in Columbia, Missouri and then transferred to the University of Missouri where she received her B.S. 

After graduating from college, she then moved to St. Louis, Missouri where her two children were born. Later they moved to Malibu, California where she begin teaching family and consumer science classes at one of the high schools. 

Ann was known as a wonderful seamester and doing any type of hand sewing. She was often called upon to do alterations for movie stars. 

She enjoyed reading particularly novels from the Victorian era.  She also loved to travel. 

Ann moved from California to Georgia after retiring to be closer to family 

Survived by 1 daughter – Katherine Kendall – DeFuniak Springs, Florida 

1 son – Christopher Kendall – California 

5 grandchildren, other relatives and friends 

She was preceded in death by her parents – Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Dillman.
