Bryan Keith Owens

Bryan Keith Owens was born November 13, 1965, to Jack Owens and Pat McPherson Owens in Hayti, Missouri and passed from this life on June 7, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Tanner and Trevor of Idabel, OK, Step daughters Hailey, Kelsey, and Sidney Hundhausen of Wardell, MO. His brother Perry and his wife, Julie Owens of El Reno, OK. Step father Larry Thrasher, step brothers Larry, Jr, Frank, Steve of Caruthersville, MO. niece Franki Thrasher of Caruthersville, MO.  Step mother Faye Owens, step sisters Tracy and her husband Walter Hefner and Candi Fiedler, Idabel, OK.  Nephews Blaine, Blake, Patrick and Aidan Owens. Nieces Baleigh Henley and her husband, Trey and Eryn Posey and her husband, Stephen. Two sister-in laws Kim Brown and Tina Owens. Other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents Jack Owens and Pat Thrasher and his brother, John Owens.

Bryan enjoyed the outdoors whether he was fishing, hunting, farming or just hanging out with family or friends.  He lived life to the fullest and truly enjoyed himself.  He had an adventurous spirit and a great personality.  He loved with all that he had and had a kind heart.  He would give anyone the shirt off his back at any time.  His greatest love was his family and the time he could spend with them.  He will be missed by many.

Funeral services June 11, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. in H. S. Smith Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Brother Mike McDaniel officiating.  Interment in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pall bearers:  Blaine Owens, Blake Owens, Patrick Owens, Aidan Owens, Sean Sharp, Frank Thrasher, Steve Thrasher, Larry Thrasher, Jr.

Honorary pall bearers:  Stephen Sharp and Chuck Cain.
