Larry Ludwick was born in Parkin, Arkansas, on December 26, 1950. He was the son of Carl Ludwick and Mary Ludwick.
He departed this life on March 25, 2024, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was 73 years old.
On November 14, 1969, in Kennett, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Joann Baugh.
Larry loved the outdoors. He enjoyed going to the deer woods every year with family and friends. He also enjoyed camping and water skiing. Larry was a hard worker. He worked at Trinity for many years and then became an over-the-road trucker. He could give you directions to anywhere you wanted to go!
His greatest love was his family and the time he was able to spend with them. His favorite name was “PopPop.”
He is survived by his wife: JoAnn Ludwick; two daughters: Mary Johnson & Tammy Bratcher; one son: Larry Ludwick, Jr. (Melissa); two sisters: Linda Lucy & Trisha Blezzard; five grandchildren: Brittany Pilcher (Brock), Kevin Lynch, Jordan Ludwick (Josh), Ethan Ludwick, & Katlyn Bratcher; three great grandchildren: Kynlie, Dilyn, Whitley, and one more on the way; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister – Edna, and a brother – Carl, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
