Dorothy Louise Rogers Mann was born January 29, 1942 in Pemiscot County, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Wesley Rogers and Esther Vaughn Rogers.

She departed this life at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was 74 years old.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Mr. John (Bud) Mann on July 10, 1957 in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was known to many simply as “Grandma.”  She and her family owned and operated Mann Fish Market.

She was a member of the Kinfolks Ridge Baptist Church.  She read her Bible every day.  Her Bible was full of not only her own family history but of her many friends.

2 sons – Bryon Alan Mann and his wife, Rebecca – Caruthersville, Missouri

Her son-in-law – Barnie Stokes

2 grandsons that she raised as sons – Justin Lee Wiggington and Alex Lopez

Her other grandchildren – Susan Anette and her husband, Ray, Jaclyn, Charles, Malcolm, Alana and her husband, Robert, Brittni, Levi, Kolton, Karson, Cierra

Many great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends and her special Blue Pit bull dog-George

She was preceded in death by her parents – Wesley and Esther Rogers, her brother – Bob Rogers and her daughter – Cynthia Dawn Stokes, & a grandson that she raised as a son, Roy Wiggington.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri with Rev. Gary Mann & Rev. Troy Alley officiating. The interment was in the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville. Pall-Bearers were: Alex Lopez, Jerry Mann, David Coleman, Scotty Pardue, Jeff “Bubba” Burns and Malcolm Connor.
